If we got something wrong

Tell us what is wrong, which page it is on, and what is right (a link to a source helps). We check it and, if you are right, we fix it and say so on the page.

If you are named or shown on a page

If a Fact-check, an Issue or a creator page is about you or your reel, you may send a reply. We publish it next to the item, in your own words and with the same prominence, with a link to it from the top of the page. We may shorten a reply only if it is much longer than 500 words (we will link to the full text instead), and we leave out anything unlawful, such as threats or private details of other people.

What we promise

• We reply within 24 hours to say we have your message, and we decide within 15 days.
• A clear mistake is fixed as soon as we have checked it, usually within 3 days.
• Every correction is shown on the page with its date. We do not quietly change a page.
• If we reverse or withdraw a verdict, the page stays up with a note at the top saying what changed, when, and why. We do not delete it.
• Our checks are about claims, not about people.
